Ripptide Art & Design is a multidisciplinary studio founded by artist Jessica Ripp, based on the North Shore of Oahu. Inspired by movement, texture and the natural rhythm of water and nature, Ripptide blends fine art, photography, graphic design, and textile work into a cohesive visual language.

A Nebraska native, Jess has been creating artworks and expressing via multiple mediums from a very early age. In most recent years, the ocean, nature and travelling have served as her muse. Each piece - whether painted, photographed, designed or sewn - is rooted in storytelling and crafted by hand. Ripptide is not bound to one medium, but instead flows between them, embracing creativity where it leads.

 

She specializes in a multitude of fine art, including: surfboard deck design, pencil/graphite, acrylic and oil painting, as well as collaging, murals, sculpture, pen and ink, spray paint, paint pens, chalk, sewing, and graphic design.
